| Varieties Available | Ipomoea Nil | Heian (Ancient Kyoto) |
Heian no Izumi, or The Fountain of the Heian Era, blooms just like a fountain of massive lavender silk beauty. The bloom is so big it sometimes has difficulty opening into a fully round bloom, so its unique cascading petals give it a distinctly far-eastern appearance. As with the other Heian cultivars, the Fountain of the Heian Era produces few seeds due to its difficulty fully closing and creating seeds.
